Who is Adam Harmless??

I'm a musician, a writer, and an artist from Gadsden, Alabama. I'm a husband. I'm a father. I'm a weird guy traversing a relatively "normal" path and trying to make interesting things for our eyes, ears, and minds. Basically an all-around artist seeking creativity without boundaries beyond my own imagination and uh.... limitations.

I'm the singer and sometimes guitarist of the long-running punk rock band Tiger Helicide (and offshoots like The Angry Letters, Lion Tankacide, Hot For Creature, The Acquisitions, etc.) with basically the best musicians in the Gadsden area.

I have an industrial project called Kazapstrophe with Jake Paradox (Floodwraith).

I'm also a solo experimental noise artist.

I'm a relatively prolific zinester and the editor of the GAD! zine. It's an old-school black & white photocopied zine focused on independent art, music, poetry, whatever. The back features The Alabama Underground Music Directory: a list of current independent underground bands in Alabama. You can find the list online here.

I recently completed My Zine Revolution. It's a project which involved me finishing a new zine every week for a year. Very recently, I completed a project in which I made a new mini zine everyday of July.

I also published a book called Tiger Helicide in 2020. I call it hyper-non-fiction. More books of varying scope, subjects, and quality are in the works.

I will be going into excruciating detail soon(ish) about all these projects and many more. This site is to serve as an online museum of sorts for my artistic endeavors. The reason is less about my ego (although that could probably use a bump) and more about documenting what I've created up to this point and what I come up with in the future. If I do this any kinda right, adamharmless.com will be a resource for any of my art that matters. Maybe it'll encourage other artists. I dunno. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this.
